Premier League side Arsenal have reached an agreement with 13-time European champions Real Madrid to sign Spanish midfielder, Dani Ceballos, on a season-long loan deal ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.
22-year-old Ceballos has long be linked with leaving the Santiago Bernabeu with North London the likely destination following interest for him from local rivals, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
But now, according to BBC Sport, it is the Gunners that have won the race for the midfielder’s signature and it is expected to be announced officially by the club on July 23 along with the signing of William Saliba.
Saliba will also be joining Arsenal having been on the radar of Tottenham and will cost the Gunners £27 million, with the 18-year-old defender to spend the 2019/20 campaign back at St. Etienne on loan.
