Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi marked his Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) debut with the Man-of-the-Match award during Nigeria’s 1-0 win against Burundi.
The three-time African champions found it difficult to breakdown the swallows and it took a special effort from former Watford forward, Odion Ighalo.
Ndidi was strong in midfield for Nigeria, playing alongside Oghenekaro Etebo they provided cover for the defense.
