The Belgian has consistently been linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid, who now have Zinedine Zidane back at the helm and are looking to overhaul their squad with big names.

Earlier in the season Hazard said a personal decision had been reached regarding his future, and now footage has circulated which suggests the forward is heading for the exit door. A fan has uploaded to social media site Instagram, publishing a clip which shows a group of supporters pulling up alongside Hazard’s car in traffic.

The group shout to the Belgian, and essentially beg him to “stay at Chelsea, stay at Chelsea.” Despite the footage being rather grainy, Hazard can be seen to give a little shake of the head along with a grin, before driving off.

It is unknown whether the footage was captured recently – following Chelsea’s 3-0 victory over Watford – or whether it was slightly earlier in the campaign. After the Watford clash, which could have been Hazard’s final game at Stamford Bridge, the Belgian took to social media site Instagram to post an image of himself on the pitch looking towards the supporters, along with love hearts.

The representatives of the 28-year-old have reportedly asked Chelsea to ‘honour their agreement’ with Hazard and Real Madrid. It is believed the player was told last season he could leave in a year’s time, should he commit another 12 months to the club.

Madrid are understood to want Hazard to head a list of big names this summer, as they look to bounce back from a miserable season in which they failed to defend their Champions League title, while again surrendering La Liga to bitter rivals Barcelona.

Alongside Hazard, Madrid have been linked with fellow Premier League stars Paul Pogba and Christian Eriksen. Manager Zidane, according to reports in Spain, has ‘sat down with his bosses’ to identify five players he wants to acquire this summer in a spending spree close to £460million.
