Paris Saint-German star, Kylian Mbappe has revealed the truth about whether he will leave the French Ligue one champions or move to Spain to join Real Madrid after his latest comment on the long term rumour as he celebrates another league triumph with PSG on Sunday night.
Real Madrid have has been a long term admirer of Kylian Mbappe, who was said to be the replacement for five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo, who moved to Juventus in the summer of 2018, and with the return of Zinedine Zidane to the Santiago Bernabeu dugout, the move was set to happy, but the 20-year-old forward looks to have broken the heart of the Los Blancos faithfuls.
Paris Saint-Germain won the French Ligue one before getting to the field of play against Monaco, after second-placed Lille played out a goalless draw against Toulouse, and Mbappé scored a hat-trick to celebrate the trophy, the French star then revealed to French sports channel that “I’m staying at PSG, I’ll watch Madrid’s games as a football fan”.
Kylian Mbappé had a chat with Canal + France after scoring a hat trick in PSG’s 3-1 win over Monaco on Sunday evening. When asked about his future, the 2018 FIFA World Cup-winner Mbappé, who is high on Real Madrid’s agenda, declared that he is happy in Paris: “I’m staying at PSG”.
Mbappé is under contract until 2022 and insists he will be staying in Paris for another season at least: “I’m fully involved in PSG’s project. I’m happy for Real Madrid that Zizou has come back. I’ll watch their games as an admirer”. Just a month ago, France Football reported that Madrid would be putting in a 280 million euro offer for Mbappé.
Zidane’s return to the coaching job appeared to be key in the operation to sign the young centre-forward – as he had already attempted to sign him back in the summer of 2017 when he was starting to make a name for himself at Monaco.
